This work is an interactive and emotional visual experience, combining material and sound to offer the viewer a sense of isolation and return to a primordial state. The structure, made of soundproof polyurethane, is two metres high and with its imposing position it shapes the space for the viewer. This work highlights the interaction between space, sound and the human body, incorporating the idea of sonic isolation as an integral part of the human experience. An environment is created in which the viewer can enter and get in touch with the sounds produced by the body, such as the heartbeat, breathing and other natural sounds. A sense of a special condition emerges, almost like the one we experienced when we were in our mother’s womb – a safe haven away from external noises and external reality.
